Casa de mi Padre, previously known on IMDB as Untitled Spanish Comedy, stars Ferrell as a rancher trying to do good for his family, while becoming embroiled in a love triangle, a feud with a drug lord and all kinds of other funny shenanigans. It reunites Y Tu Mama Tambien stars Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna (which can't possibly be a bad thing), was written by Andrew Steele (who also wrote The Ladies' Man -- take that as you will) and directed by Matt Piedmont, both SNL alums. It's Piedmont's first at-bat as a feature director, but it's my feeling that if you put Will Ferrell in front of a camera, add a bunch of fancy special effects and some top-notch dramatic actors, you can't do too badly.
